Jülich is located directly on the A44 (Aachen – Düsseldorf), and the A4 (Cologne – Aachen) and A61 (Koblenz – Mönchengladbach) motorways are also only a few minutes' drive away. The city is also very well connected to the transport network via the Rurtalbahn railway.
