The 118.3-kilometre-long Via Agrippa is divided into four stages for cyclists. In addition, three excursions allow you to explore the surroundings of the Via Agrippa.
Stage 1 begins on Via Agrippa at what was once probably an elaborately designed Roman city gate with two passageways at the corner of Clemensstraße and Bobstraße in Cologne. Instead of the gate building, parking spaces now cover the area. However, remnants of the Roman city wall can still be seen on Mauritiussteinweg.

To the route on OutdooractiveNear the Marienbach stream is Mansio Zülpich, the starting point of the third stage, which offers a wealth of information about the Roman Road and Via Agrippa. Following dirt tracks, past a wayside cross on Irnicher Berg hill, you pass a waterworks and reach the so-called Mathiassäule column.

The fourth stage of the Via Agrippa begins on field and cycle paths. After climbing out of the Königsberg Valley, you cycle back down into the Urft Valley and then, after a while, turn right at a farm. The path winds its way along a railway line through idyllic woods and along agricultural land.
